It was another big cross weekend with the Pros in Boulder, CO for the annual USGP stop and of course the always strange Halloween Cross Crusade weekend in Bend.
On the pro side, Castelli LTS/Felt rider, Ryan Trebon, continued to dominate. A victory on Saturday and 2nd on Sunday gives him a commanding lead in the USGP standings and solidifies his US #1 Ranking.
Castelli women’s pro, Sue Butler, continued her good form with a 5th on Saturday. She encountered some bad luck on Sunday, with a puncture on the last lap, resulting in a 7th place finish.
On the Oregon Cross Crusade front, Castelli-Corsa Concepts rider, Aaron Tuckerman, padded his Cross Crusade points lead with 3rd, while Serena Gordon of (Silverado/Sunnyside) won both days on the women’s side. Both men’s and women’s fields saw Castelli place 4 riders in the top ten.
